The hotel is located on the side of Hill Top with a very beautiful green scenery view overlooking Acut Omer (First Jenge) (Irene Gleeson School) all the way to the Lamola area, and visitors can enjoy the lovely view with a fresh breeze from the hill. Hence, this is how the name “Pleasant View Hotel” came up. The Pleasant View Hotel is also commonly referred to by its nickname, “Hotel Pa Oleo,” by the locals.
Jasinta Achen is the Director and founder of Pleasant View Hotels and Pleasant View Tours and Travel companies. Her inspiration came from the great work of her late father Muzee Albino Olango Oleo.
Jasinta, the third born of the family of Muzee Albino Olango founded both Pleasant View Hotel and Tours and Travel. She wanted to continue the legacy of her late father who was one of the most influential, renounced, and successful businessmen. Jasinta’s dream is to have the best hospitality and tours and travel entities which will attract both local and foreign tourists to the most beautiful, pleasant view from the hillside of Kitgum and the great north and northeast of the Pearl of Africa, Uganda.
Her dream as the Director for Pleasant View Hotels and Pleasant View Tours and Travel is to become the best service provider in hospitality, tours, and travel services in Northern Uganda.

The Story
Pleasant View Hotel is in Lagoro Road, Acut Amer, Pandwong Division Kitgum municipality. The accommodation at PVH is nice, with comfortable beds, clean rooms, and rooms with a TV. PVH has 24 self-contained rooms with an outside-opening balcony that allows guests to enjoy the view of the hills and the environment.
